good day friends! i discovered some ripe-o-rama bananas hiding inside the depths of our fridge closing night time (Spring cleaning!), and become about to toss them within the freezer for smoothies while it struck me… it’s been a warm minute since we’ve had some banana bread around here! That I had to restoration! Plus, I knew you guys wouldn’t mind some notable wet, flavorful banana bread motion all up for your quite little faces  right?

In actual Ashley style, I took that little concept of bread and speedy grew to become it into a rich, gentle chocolate included banana cake. You’re welcome 
This cake is wholly decadent with its moist banana bread base and a pair of element milk chocolate drizzle. 

It’s just begging to be gobbled with a massive, cold milk chaser. Or a warm cup of espresso! I had a slice with both and it become a tie! I simply couldn’t pick out.

  • four ounces unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • four large eggs, at room temperature
  • 3 huge ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all reason flour
  • three/four teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • three tablespoons whole milk

  1. Preheat oven to 325 tiers (F). Generously grease a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray; set apart.
  2. within the bowl of stand mixer outfitted with the paddle attachment beat butter and sugars till mild and fluffy - about five mins. add eggs, one by one, beating nicely after every addition.
  3. upload mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
  4. In a seperate bowl, mix collectively flour, salt, and baking soda.

  6. Pour finished batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 55-sixty five mins, or until a cake tester inserted within the cake comes out clean.
  7. Cool cake within the pan for 10 minutes, then run a knife lightly round the rims, and carefully turn out onto a cooling rack. Cool cake absolutely before slicing/ including drizzle.
  8. For the drizzle - combine chocolate chips and milk in a microwaveable bowl. warmth in 20 second increments until chocolate has been completely melted and may be whisked into a clean mixture. allow the chocolate combination cool for a couple of minutes, then pour right into a large ziplock bag and snip a small nook off one end. Generously drizzle chocolate over the cooled cake. reduce and serve!
  9. Oh, and experience free to garnish with sliced bananas in case you want an extra pretty presentation
